Our Kickboxing program at FS Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness in Katy is designed for both kids and adults who want to build confidence, improve fitness, and develop real striking skills in a structured and high-energy environment. Students learn proper punching and kicking technique, footwork, defensive movement, and combination training while improving strength, endurance, coordination, and overall athleticism. Each class blends technical instruction with conditioning to ensure students not only learn how to strike effectively, but also build the discipline, resilience, and mental toughness that carry over into everyday life. Whether the goal is self-defense, stress relief, competition preparation, or simply getting in the best shape possible, our Kickboxing program provides a motivating and supportive atmosphere where students of all levels can grow stronger on and off the mat.

About the program

The Kickboxing program at FS Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness is designed with age-specific classes for Lil Ninjas (5–9), Juniors (10–12), and Teen & Adults (13+), ensuring focused instruction that matches each student’s development and goals. Across all levels, students learn proper punches, kicks, footwork, and defensive movement while improving coordination, conditioning, and overall athleticism. Lil Ninjas build confidence and listening skills in a fun, structured environment, Juniors sharpen technique and endurance, and Teen & Adults train with greater intensity and practical self-defense application. Each class is structured to develop discipline, resilience, and confidence both on and off the mat.

Lil Ninjas Kickboxing (Ages 5–9)

Our Lil Ninjas Kickboxing classes introduce young students to the fundamentals of striking in a fun, high-energy, and structured environment. Kids learn proper technique, coordination, and discipline while building confidence and developing strong listening skills.

Juniors Kickboxing (Ages 10–12)

The Juniors Kickboxing program builds stronger striking fundamentals while increasing conditioning and technical precision. Students develop speed, power, and control through structured drills, pad work, and partner training in a safe and supportive setting.

What makes your studio different from your competitors?

We’re open 7 days a week, teach both striking and grappling, offer family classes on Sundays, and are always improving to bring our students the best training experience possible.

When can we start?

Our classes are on-going and members can begin their journey when they are ready.

Can You Get Injured in Martial Arts Training?

In any sport, there is a risk of injury. However, martial arts is one of the most effective exercises. The techniques and moves are closely supervised by out Instructors to ensure they are done correctly and safely, minimizing the risk of an injury.

Do I need prior martial arts experience?

No. Our beginner program and trial lessons are a great way for new students to start the martial arts journey.

What is your make-up policy?

We offer an open class schedule that will allow you to easily make up classes that you miss.

Are family class options available?

Our Sunday are family days where parents are welcome to join their kids on the mats to train. Mother's day and Father's day are also times for parents to participate.

How long is the class time?

Our classes are 45 minutes long for kids and 60 minutes for adults.

Do I need to buy a uniform?

You will not be required to purchase a uniform until you enroll as a student. We can provide equipment and uniforms in the trial classes.

Are there any other fees besides the membership fee?

There are other fees like uniforms and equipment that you will need to purchase. We offer parent's night out, birthday parties, seminars, and testing that will require some sort of payment. Testing for either kickboxing or jiu jitsu is 2 times a year and is under $50 per person.

Do you offer any military or family discounts?

Our family discount is different and better than most other academies. After 2 members of your family enrolls as a student, the rest of the immediate family gets their same memberships for free. We also give discounts for veterans, first responders, teachers, and students.
